Yeahhhh. Because I”m that fuckin’ awesome.

 

Speaking of awesome, I saw Pulp Fiction on Friday. Samuel L Jackson pre-Afro Samurai. He played the part like a boss.

 

Also on Friday: Went to the mall with Frank to pick some stuff up. Like friggin’ amazing silver hightops!? Fuck yeah. Retro ninja turtles hat? skeet skeet. Pics next time.

 

Sunday: Bennett Camp sponsored run from HHS. I did around 7.5ish miles. Then picked up Wii Sports Resort for 30$. Then lunch at Crown Palace with Ritchie and gang. I had people (from lunch) over afterwards to watch Thank You For Smoking. Then we played smash and WSR for a long time until we decided to watch Crounching Tiger Hidden Dragon. I had forgotten how many boring scenes there were. I fell asleep for half an hour.

 

The hightops are doing their job. Time for some Khsu+JC magic to get the job done. Alas, there is quite a bit of rust on these wheels. (You’ve missed the metaphors. I know.)

 

All the other days i haven’t blogged about have been relatively uneventful. Mostly playing smash or watching movies with a few people.I’m certainly not lamenting over the excess of free time.

Wahoo new machine July 28, 2009

*This post is like 1.5 weeks old, and it isn’t finished, but i’m posting it anyway because i had this saved in the drafts*

 

 

I’m posting from my new laptop. Sexy Acer Timeline 3810T. Less than 1 inch thick. 8 hours battery life. (Actually achievable unlike some other battery life claims.) 13.3” LED screen.

 

Sam, I’m gonna try to get osx86 working on this baby ASAP. Gonna try the Kalyway distribution first i think.

 

It’s been another week since the last post, and what have I done? Nearly nothing. I’ve gotten a bit further on my C++, but it’s still gonna be a while before i can actually do stuff i think.

 

I haven’t run very much recently. And i feel very unaccomplished on days when i don’t run or do something that is otherwise productive.

I haven’t done very much since then….

 

I ordered Accelerated C++ and Thinking in C++ so i can finally become a legit geek. Also to try and be somewhat productive this summer. Also finally ordered Once a Runner.

 

I saw Transformers 2 with Horace last week. Shia Labeouf is the scrubbiest male actor that I have ever seen. My hatred for him is on the same level as that for Nicholas Cage and Richard Gere.

 

I planned on going to SoHo with Horace last Wednesday but he got sick that morning, so we didn’t go. We’ll probably go sometime this week if he’s free.

 

July 4th was decent. BBQ at Oscar’s. Raped in HORSE despite playing decently but not great.

 

Taco flavored Doritos taste like they have beef in them, but they don’t.

 

JC’s went on hiatus while I was in Chicago and MIchigan. But it’s ok because I’m back on my previous workout routine.

 

Running has been pretty low key. I’m not doing very much mileage at the moment, but i suppose now is the time to relax anyway. I’ll probably get a pair of NIke Streak XC’s and do most of all of my training that’s less than 10 miles in them. It might be a good idea for me to look at a few half-marathons or 10k’s that i might be able to race in the next 6 months or so. That way i’ll actually be training for something besides JCs.
